Get your kids out on the water this summer with TBKA’s Boating & Fishing Summer Camp in Oldsmar. Campers will be taught how to rig a rod, tie knots, select and seine baits, build a tackle box and navigate a Jon boat. Each camper will receive their own rod, reel, and tackle box to keep – all the supplies they will need to go fishing after the camp is over.

• Cost: $275 with Oldsmar Rec Card; Scholarships available.
• Dates/Times: June 10-Aug. 2, 2024; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Ages: 10-17, Coed Anglers

Beginners Camp: June 10-14 & July 8-12

Introduction to knot tying, how to navigate a jon boat.

Intermediate Camp: June 17-21 & July 22-26

Must know at least two knots, how to rig a rod, how to cast.

Advanced Camp: June 24-28 & July 29th- August 2nd

Has taken TBKA intermediate class in the past; Must know how to tie knots, feel comfortable being on a boat for most of the day. Know how to maneuver the jon boat/ work with a team member.
