Erica Turchin currently holds the position of, Manager of Marketing and Resource Development with the Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County, which focuses on early childhood education. She has a passion for learning and first started in education when she worked at a childcare center. After graduating from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design, she moved to Florida, where she taught kindergarten thru 12th grade art. She has worked with the Florida Department of Education to help write the Sunshine State Standards for art education. After receiving her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Media Design from Full Sail University, Erica began her career in marketing and graphic design for various industries in Tampa Bay. Her greatest achievement is being a mom to her son which has made her re-experience the world through the lens of a child. You can find her exploring Tampa Bay with her son and hanging out at her favorite beach spot, Honeymoon Island.
