NEW: Cretaceous Course
Start your journey through the Cretaceous period with SciLinx Mini Golf, MOSI’s outdoor, nine-hole miniature golf course. The newly transformed Cretaceous Course invites families to putt their way through the prehistoric, surrounded by towering dinosaurs and photo-worthy surprises.
As players navigate the course, they’ll discover how concepts like physics, force, angles, and gravity help shape the game. It’s the perfect way to add outdoor adventure to your MOSI visit while sneaking in a little science along the way.
Ultimate T. rex VR Experience
For an even more immersive adventure, families can climb aboard MOSI’s Ultimate T. rex VR Experience and travel millions of years back in time. Using 3D goggles and motion chairs, guests are transported into a 360-degree prehistoric world where they can experience life alongside a T. rex family.
From exploring the world of dinosaurs to facing the challenges of survival, this virtual reality experience offers a thrilling new perspective on one of Earth’s most fascinating creatures.
Dinovations Lab
The prehistoric fun doesn’t stop there! Families can also explore MOSI’s existing dinosaur experiences, including Dinovations Lab and Dinovations Dig, where young explorers can uncover fossils and discover the science of paleontology.

The dinosaur excitement continues in January 2027 when MOSI welcomes “SUE: The T. rex Experience.” Known as one of the most complete and best-preserved dinosaur fossils ever discovered, SUE will give Tampa Bay families a rare opportunity to experience one of the world’s most iconic dinosaurs up close.
Visitors will discover the science behind this incredible discovery and learn how paleontologists use fossils to unlock the mysteries of life millions of years ago.
