Glazer Children’s Museum Celebrates 15 Years of Play with $15 Admission in September!
This month, the Glazer Children’s Museum is marking a milestone: 15 Years of Play!
To celebrate, Florida residents can enjoy $15 admission all September long. Families are invited to join in a month packed with birthday-themed activities, special performances, and a giant FREE Birthday Bash in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park on Saturday, September 27.
Since opening its doors in 2010, the Glazer Children’s Museum has welcomed more than 3 million guests. Each visit represents more than just a day of fun, it’s a chance for children and families to connect, create, and learn through the transformative power of play.

A Month of Birthday Fun at Glazer Children's Museum
Throughout September, families can:
- Get creative making party headbands and glasses in Make Space Craft; the perfect accessories to wear to the big Birthday Bash!
- Cozy up for birthday-themed story times.
- Play together with classic games like Pin the Cherry on the Cupcake, limbo, charades, and dance parties.
- Experience live theater, including special performances of Quince by Victoria Rios on September 20, 21 & 28, at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The Big Birthday Bash
Saturday, September 27 | 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park
This FREE community celebration brings the birthday fun outside with:
- Live performances (including local kid talent)
- Touch-a-Truck experiences
- Bounce houses & playful activities for all ages
- Local artisans and kid-run vendor booths
- Costumed characters
- Food trucks
This year’s Birthday Bash is extra special, it’s part of Nickelodeon’s Worldwide Day of Play, a global initiative encouraging kids and families to step away from screens, head outdoors, and discover the joy of play.
Each year, the Worldwide Day of Play unites hundreds of children’s museums, schools, and community partners across North America to host events that spark imagination, movement, and connection.
By joining this network of celebrations, the Glazer Children’s Museum’s Birthday Bash not only celebrates 15 Years of Play but also showcases the Museum as a leader in inspiring fun, learning, and imagination for kids and families around the world.
