The Best Kid-Friendly Breweries to Bring Little Kids in Tampa Bay
For some, a brewery may seem like an odd place to “bring your kid” but thankfully the culture of craft beer has evolved and there are a handful of family-friendly breweries around Tampa Bay, since beer-lovers are parents, too! So, take a look at our Tried-and-Tested Picks for a brewery hang with the kids, which we've split up by part of town since – we know you're busy.
Seminole Heights: Kid-Friendly Breweries in Tampa Bay
- Common Dialect Beerworks
- Magnanimous Brewing
In the Seminole Heights beer corridor of Tampa, our top pick is Common Dialect Beerworks on N. Florida Ave. which is super accommodating to families. It has large indoor and outdoor areas big enough to play and be loud and even has a shelf of toys and games for littles to play with inside.

Magnanimous Brewing's location on N. Nebraska Ave. (the old 7venth Sun) is another great spot since it's big and open and features a family-favorite: arcade games. There's usually a yummy food truck on-site as well, otherwise there's plenty of nearby take-out options. They also have a location in downtown Tampa near Armature Works with a couple of nice “hang-out” couch areas – just no arcade games.
You'll find their signature shows playing at both locations: Bob Ross and Bay Watch (we sit the kids facing away from those TV's!).

Common Dialect Beerworks:
5023 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33603
Magnanimous Brewing:
6809 N Nebraska Ave, Tampa, FL 33604 &
1420 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33602
Ybor/Downtown: Breweries that Aren't Scared of Kids
- Coppertail Brewing
- BarrieHaus Beer Co.
Coppertail Brewing and BarrieHaus Beer Co. are our picks for Ybor brewery hangs for the low-key, easy vibe. Coppertail has great food and lots of space (people forget there's an upstairs), meanwhile it has a small outdoor patio in case you have your dog (or a toddler having a tantrum).

BarrieHaus is a German-inspired beer-hall a short walk from the Centro Ybor garage which offers big ‘ole pretzels to go with their giant beers. You can bring your own food to this super-relaxed spot which is used to hosting kids and even offers an annual Art-Ober For The Kids Fest free event every year the day after Oktoberfest.

Coppertail Brewing:
2601 E 2nd Ave, Tampa, FL 33605
BarrieHaus Beer Co.:
1403 E 5th Ave, Tampa, FL 33605
North/West Tampa: Family-Friendly Breweries
- New World Tampa
- Wulfaven Brewing Co.
- Cigar City Brewing
New World Tampa (forever “New World Brewery” in my mind), is not technically a brewery but beer lovers will agree it has the same feel and deserves a spot here since it's such an easy spot to take – well, anyone. We wish we got to this hidden gem more often – we love stopping here after a trip to Busch Gardens for a beer and a thin-crust pizza in the courtyard while the girls run around.

Up in the heart of Carrollwood, Wulfaven Brewing Co. is a super popular neighborhood brewery with families, offering a regular calendar of food trucks, trivia and live music. It's a big warehouse-style building with plenty of parking, plenty of room and a big covered patio.
Note: the brewery turns 21+ after 8pm.

Cigar City Brewing by the Airport is easy peasy with kids as well. They have seriously yummy food and a great range of beer options for everyone in the group. Meanwhile, you have options as far as where you want to sit indoors. There's a quieter side along the bar, otherwise if you're worried about them being loud you can opt for the opposite side which is more wide-open.

New World Tampa:
810 E Skagway Ave, Tampa, FL 33604
Wulfaven Brewing Co.:
10828 Perez Dr, Tampa, FL 33618
Cigar City Brewing:
3924 W Spruce St, Tampa, FL 33607
St. Petersburg: Breweries to Bring the Kids
St. Pete is the mecca for kid-friendly breweries. Parents in the area are lucky to have so many great options to take the kids for an easy afternoon. Although it's hard to choose, our favorites are Cage, Green Bench, and 3 Daughters.
Cage Brewing is so family-friendly they host a free Family Day every last Sunday of the month with face painting, live music from Mr. Harley and more. Their ginormous yard is perfect for kids to run around in and they even a bunch of outdoor toys to play with. Not to mention, really good food on-site.

The spot to go downtown St. Pete if you're out and about is Green Bench Brewing, right behind Central Ave and down the street from the (sad) Trop. We love their beer, their nice big turf yard and the ample seating. Plus, there's a ton of yummy food options nearby like Red Mesa, Bodega for the best Cuban sandwiches you'll ever eat, or Hawkers for delicious Asian street food.

A few minutes away over in the Warehouse district, 3 Daughters Brewing is known for its games and events like music bingo and craft markets. There's always something going on at 3 Daughters! With huge indoor and outdoor spaces, every kind of game you can think of and live music regularly, it's a great spot where you can relax and not have to worry about the kids being loud.

Cage Brewing:
2001 1st Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL 33712
Geen Bench Brewing:
1133 Baum Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33705
3 Daughters Brewing:
222 22nd St S, St. Petersburg, FL 33712
