Nurturing Bright Futures Why Parents Choose CREATE Education

Education is at the core of development in childhood and early adulthood. With the right curriculum, community, and resources, an educational program can be the bridge to a bright future.

Through evidence-based teaching, a unique blend of cross-disciplinary learning, and a focus on holistic development, the CREATE program (Children’s Recreational, Educational, Arts and Therapeutic Experience) serves as this bridge for a growing number of students across Tampa Bay.

Holistic Approach: What Sets CREATE Apart

Compared to a strictly academic lens, CREATE cares for the whole child: mind, body and person. All programming is designed with the goal of fostering social-emotional traits and skills, such as resilience, adaptability, executive function, mindfulness and collaboration.

We give students the tools to feel empowered to take on life’s challenges.

CREATE also considers diversity across life experiences that may impact a child’s educational experience. Individualized behavioral and academic care is offered to children and families facing hardships, trauma and other challenges. Care is tailored, attentive and trauma-based, giving support to students on every step of their educational path.

Early Learning Program: Ages 0-5

Children aged 0-5 are welcome to our Early Learning program. Here, students establish building blocks for lifelong success through individualized learning, balanced curriculum and active engagement.

Learning social-emotional tools and cognitive skills in these early years ensures school readiness and a smooth transition to kindergarten.

School Age Program: Grades K-12

Our School Age Program serves children in grades K-12 on weekdays before and after school, as well as during breaks, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Students collaborate on enrichment activities encompassing STEAM, mindfulness, executive function, leadership, social-emotional skills, and more, with tutoring and additional support also provided. Through these activities, teamwork, empathy and interpersonal skills grow and flourish.

Mental well-being is another key component of our program, with resilience-building and therapeutic group sessions providing a safe, healthy environment for children to express themselves and receive care and social support.

Family Involvement: Parents as Partners

Active family involvement increases students' motivation and confidence, improving overall academic and well-being outcomes. CREATE offers many opportunities for family and caregiver involvement, including family fun nights, parent training nights, and volunteering.

Impact: Setting Children up for Success

CREATE’s comprehensive design yields real results for our students. Children who have attended our Early Learning program for at least 3 months have shown a 69% improvement in executive function skills and between 93% and 95% improvement in developmental milestones and social-emotional skills.

Children in the School Age program have shown improvements of 77%-81% in motivation to learn new skills and positive social behaviors, and an 87% improvement in overall mental well-being.
