Home / Easter in Tampa Bay / Easter Egg Hunts
Easter is Sunday, April 20, and there are so many fun Easter Egg Hunt events in Tampa Bay leading up to the holiday!
One of our favorite events,Ashley's Eggsploration, brought to you by the Tampa Downtown Partnership, is back for another year and will take over Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park on Saturday, April 19 from 9 am-1 pm.
We've got the details on what to expect and what to know before you go to this family-friendly event.
What activities will be at Eggsploration?
Eggsploration is downtown Tampa's largest Easter egg hunt! There will be thousands of eggs to find–registration opens at 9 am and closes at 12 pm, and kids can begin the hunt as soon as they register. Groups will be broken up by age so that everyone has a fun and fair chance to hunt for eggs. Once you collect a combination of eggs, you can redeem them for a prize.
To claim the grand prize, egg hunters will need to find one of three golden eggs and be rewarded with a $500 Ashley voucher. Completed scavenger hunt cards for participants 18 and up will also be entered into a raffle for a Downtown Tampa staycation package.

There is even more fun planned for the day! You can expect games and children's activities, including bounce houses, a bike helmet decorating station and giveaway, food and retail vendors, face painting and balloon animals, and more! There will also be a mimosa bar for guests ages 21 and older.
Of course, what would an Easter event be without a visit from the Easter Bunny himself? He'll be there and will be making appearances for meet and greets and photo ops!
