While some of these may be a little intense for younger kids, most of them can make for a fun night out with teens or even a kid-free night for the parents! Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream Haunted Houses in Tampa

- Recommended for: ages 16+
- Cost: $34.99 and up per person
Howl-O-Scream, Busch Gardens’ annual scare-fest is back! On select nights throughout October, you can head to Busch Gardens for an unforgettable experience. You can’t miss this event that’ll give you a night of haunted houses, scare zones, horror shows, and thrill rides! Haunted houses this year include D.H. Baggum’s Circus of Fear, Stranglewood Estate, the NEW Shadows of Wonderland, and more.
The Haunted Farm at Raprager Pumpkin Festival in Odessa
- September 20-November 3, 2024 on select days
- Recommended for: All ages during the day, ages 10+ after 6 pm
- Cost: Festival admission $16.95
The 5,000 square foot Haunted Barn at Raprager Family Farm’s Fall Festival is fun during the day and gets extra spooky at night when the monsters come out after 6 pm! There are other fun things to do as well including the pumpkin patch, petting zoo, and more.
UNdead in the Water: SOS in Tampa

Hop aboard a WWII ship for this haunted attraction on the water. Immerse yourself in the action aboard the ship, where few surviving members of the crew talk of a haunting female ghost aboard the ship. Also new this year is the location, which has moved to Sparkman Wharf. This is truly one of Tampa Bay’s most unique Halloween experiences.
Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail in Plant City

Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail was ranked the Top Haunted Attraction in Florida by TheScareFactor.com. I-4’s premier fear park includes 3 haunted trails, an escape game, laser tag, live entertainment, food vendors, merchandise and more. You can take your date to Sir Henry’s in Plant City any Friday, Saturday or Sunday in October for a fun Halloween experience you’ll remember. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Wycoff’s Haunted House at Fearville at DK Farms in Largo
- October 4-26, 2024 on select nights from 6 pm-10 pm
- Recommended for: Ages 14+
- Cost: Tickets start at $27
Experience Wycoff’s haunted house which DK Farms says is bigger than ever and then continue the thrills with a walk along the scary trail, and hay ride, plus step right into Maple Hollow to see what goes on in this creepy town after dark or what lurks in Shelter 16 at the campgrounds at Pinelands National Park. Additional entertainment includes fire performers and acrobats. Or you can brave the mechanical bull. Tickets start at $25 and you can add on additional experiences starting at $5.
Jurassic Haunt at Dinosaur World

Yes, you read that right. A haunted CAR WASH. Every year, Tommy’s Express Car Wash transforms several of their national locations into a haunted wash for two days only and this year, four of them are in Florida (two of them in Tampa Bay!). Guests can get their cars washed while being spooked by ghouls and ghosts as they drive through the Tunnel of Terror. So, go get your car all squeaky clean…if you dare. Prices vary.
