Trick-or-Treat at Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s Halloween Spookquarium!

Clearwater Marine Aquarium will transform into a Halloween Spookquarium on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, from 3 p.m.-7 p.m., as it hosts a family-friendly evening of eerie excitement and Halloween fun to create memories with family and friends.
In addition, many of these spooky delights will be available so aquarium guests can enjoy the fun early, including an inflatable maze, a creepy sea cavern, underwater pumpkin carvings, and lots of fall decorations.
The Halloween Spookquarium event includes:
- CMA Trick-or-Treat bags will be available for the first 100 kids at Guest Services beginning at 2:45 p.m. Available while supplies last.
- Trick-or-Treating: Trick-or-treat stations throughout the Aquarium and collect Halloween goodies along the way from 3 to 7 pm, don't forget your candy bag!
- Costume contest: Dress up in your most creative, spooky, or cute costume for a chance to win prizes. The costume contest is open to all ages. Time: 5:30 pm.
- Ghoulish games and activities: Enjoy a variety of Halloween and fall-themed games, activities, and crafts for all ages, including Slime Time from 4-5 pm!
- Underwater Pumpkin Carving: Witness CMA’s dive team’s ability of pumpkin carving UNDERWATER at 4 pm, 5 pm, and 6 pm at Pool 5 at the Stone Dolphin Complex.
- Creepy Sea Cavern: The Education Department will have the spook-tacular experience – a chance to explore the mysterious world of deep-sea creatures, games, and crafts – from 3 pm-7 pm. The Creepy Sea Cavern will also be open on October 31 and November 1 from 10 am-5 pm.
