Our holistic approach ensures that families can engage in activities together or individually, promoting a healthy lifestyle and allowing them to reach their full potential. Our diverse programs are available for every member of your family.
Youth Programs
The YMCA offers a variety of programs designed to instill a love for physical activity from a young age. From swim lessons to youth sports and summer camp to before-and-after-school enrichment, the YMCA teaches valuable life skills such as teamwork, perseverance and confidence.
Teen Initiatives
We proudly offer our teens a safe space to discover who they are and what they want to become. We aim to encourage a healthy lifestyle and positive social interactions through our gym facilities, volunteer opportunities, sports leagues, the Teen Achievers Program, the Teen Leaders Club and counselor-in-training opportunities.
Physical, Social and Mental Wellness
At the YMCA, we understand that health extends beyond physical activity. We proudly offer personal and group training along with classes designed to connect your mind, body and spirit.
Many of our YMCA locations offer state-of-the-art initiatives, including diabetes prevention programs, fall prevention programs, Pedaling for Parkinson’s, cancer survivorship programs, veteran’s programs and more.
“We love stepping into the vibrant world of the YMCA,” says Pegah Stegeman, a member of the New Tampa YMCA. “Our kids flourish through basketball, volleyball and Leadership Clubs. Beyond the courts and classrooms, within its walls lies a haven of growth and wellness, offering yoga and more.”
Stegeman, her husband Adam and their children fully utilize their YMCA family membership. Stegeman teaches yoga at the New Tampa YMCA, while her husband regularly exercises in our gym. Their children are actively engaged in youth sports and our Teen Leaders Clubs.
Your family can join the Stegemans and embark on a journey of wellness and community. Whether you’re looking to get active, take advantage of summer camp member discounts or simply find a supportive community, the YMCA has something to offer every family.
