Don’t Miss It! ZooTampa Kids Fun Run returns Sept. 12!
ZooTampa at Lowry Park is calling all young wildlife lovers and running enthusiasts to join the herd and run wild.
Tampa’s only kid-exclusive race, the 4th annual ZooTampa Kids Fun Run, presented by Muma Children’s Hospital
at TGH returns on Saturday, September 12!
The family-friendly event features five exciting races, including a Diaper Dash, Toddler Trot, Adaptive/Wheelchair, and 1K and 2K Fun Runs. Each course winds through the Zoo's scenic paths, giving kids a chance to connect with nature while supporting the Zoo's mission.

This wild collaboration between Muma Children’s Hospital and ZooTampa highlights the power of family, community, compassion, and creativity, ensuring that every child, regardless of their circumstances, can participate in the fun.
This year, the race will feature patient ambassador, 8-year-old Jaxon Feagin. Jaxon recently received a kidney transplant and his family is highlighting his story during the run to spread awareness and hope to others.
Participants are encouraged to bring family and friends to cheer them on during the races for an unforgettable morning supporting wildlife conservation. They can also explore various vendor stations at the Saunder’s Pavilion race day expo.
Registrants will receive a commemorative Kids Fun Run visor, a unique finisher's medal, race bib, sling bag, post-race goodies, and each paid participating child will receive complimentary single-day admission. The event takes place rain or shine.
