Tampa U-Pick Farm | Florida Sweeties Open for Citrus This Month!

Florida Sweeties | A super sweet U-Pick Farm in Tampa Bay!

Nothing says Florida in January like picking locally grown navel oranges!

Florida Sweeties, known for their peach orchards, is offering a you-pick of citrus fruit during what looks to be perfect picking weather this weekend. The locally owned family business is facilitating a you-pick for a local citrus grower in Dade City through the beginning of February.

Let the kids run wild climbing and picking their way to the top of the trees of a 22 acre grove, featuring 12 acres of oranges and 10 acres of grapefruit at just $5 per 6-7 lb. bucket.

Before picking, enjoy a short educational run down on which fruits by color and feel are best for picking, as well as some free refreshing juice samples.

These citrus fruits are perfect for eating on their own, juicing for drinks or freezing into popsicles.
