Keep your cool this summer and head to the movies! Several Tampa Bay area theaters are offering free and cheap movies all summer long!

Tampa Theatre Hosts Summer Sing-Alongs at Sparkman Wharf in Tampa: Free movies

Tampa Theatre is undergoing a historic renovation, so this summer, they're teaming up with Sparkman Wharf to bring the Summer Sing-Along Series on the road! The movies are free to attend and start at 6:30 p.m.

2026 Tampa Theatre Summer Sing-alongs schedule:

  • Sunday, June 28: High School Musical
  • Sunday, July 26: The Little Mermaid
  • Sunday, August 23: Wicked

Xscape Theaters Summer Movies for Kids: $1 Kids Movies

Xscape Theaters in Riverview is bringing back its Summer Movies for Kids program, offering free movies this summer on select days: Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 2 through July 23, 2026.  The doors open at 9 a.m., and showtimes are at 9:30 a.m. Screenings include Trolls, Wild Robot, Dog Man, The Bad Guys, and MORE. B&B Theatres at The Grove in Wesley Chapel: Tuesdays-Thursdays: $3 movies for members/$5 for non-members

Head to B & B Theatres at The Grove on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. for cheap movies all summer long! Tickets are $3.00 for Backstage Pass members (free to join!), and $5.00 for the general public. Movies include The SpongeBob Movie, Smurfs, Minecraft, and more. Regal Summer Movie Express: $1 Family Movies

The  Summer Movie Express features kid favorites for cheap at just $1! The $1 Summer Movie Express Movies will be offered Mondays-Thursdays from June 1 to August 13, 2026, at 11 a.m. Screenings include Peter Rabbit 2, Puss in Boots, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, Sing, K-Pop Demon Hunters, and more!  Tampa Bay Area Regal theaters in the Tampa Bay area:

Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse: $1.75 movies

CMX Cinemas Kids Summer Film Fest 2026: $1.99 movies

Head to your local CMX Cinemas to enjoy select shows on Tuesdays through Thursdays at 10 a.m. for $1.99 per ticket! Screenings in 2026 include Dog Man, Secret Life of Pets, Wild Robot, and more.

AMC Summer Movie Camp: $3 Movies

AMC’s 2026 Summer Movie Camp features select kid favorites for a discount. You can watch Paddington in Peru, How to Train Your Dragon, and more! This deal is for select days from June 22 through August 12, 2026. We recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance because seats can book up quickly for certain movies. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation.

Premiere Cinemas Plant City Summer Kids Fest: Free movies

Premiere Cinemas in Plant City is hosting its Summer Kids Fest with free movies for kids on select days. Showings are between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays on select dates. NCG Summer Camp Film Festival: $2 movie tickets
