‘Tis The Season for Giving: Giving Machine Comes to Clearwater Florida

‘Tis the season for giving, and the Tampa Bay Area is now home to Light The World’s Giving Machines! These machines are a great way to give to local and worldwide charities in a fun and interactive way this holiday season.

Since their debut in 2017, Giving Machines have appeared in 126 cities around the world, raising more than $50 million to provide hundreds of thousands of items and services to those in need.

How do I give?

Located outside Crumbl Cookie at 2719 Gulf to Bay Blvd. Suite 1120 in Clearwater, shoppers can select from 30 charitable gifts, with 100% of donations going directly to local and global charities from December 16, 2025, through January 3, 2026.

From hygiene items to meals, books, hot showers, and more, there is no amount that is too small. You can even give the gift of a goat to those in need—yes, you read that right, a goat!

“The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invites the community to come out and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ by embracing his invitation to love thy neighbor,” says city lead Patrick Thornton.

And the giving is quick, easy, and fun! Simply choose your gift from the machine and type the associated number on the screen. Once you have added all your desired gifts to your cart, you can check out and pay! Once you have paid, the gifts will vend into the bottom of the machine, where they will be collected and donated to the corresponding charities.

Join the participating non-profits and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for a ribbon-cutting celebrating the Giving Machine on Wednesday, December 17, at 11 a.m.
