Where to see July 4th fireworks in Tampa Bay in 2026

One of our favorite ways to celebrate July 4th is snuggled up on a blanket with the kids and watching a spectacular fireworks show! And YAY for all of us because there are several July 4th fireworks displays on schedule this year throughout the Tampa Bay area, so you probably don't have to drive too far to find one.

You definitely won't want to miss out on this year's celebrations, as it's America's 250th Anniversary, also known as a semiquincentennial!

Fourth of July Fireworks Cruise at Pirate Water Taxi

2026 marks the 250th Celebration of the United States, and there is no better vantage point for this milestone than on Tampa’s iconic Pirate Water Taxi. Why watch from the shore when you can be on a taxi in the center of the action?

Join us for an unforgettable Independence Day Fireworks Cruise and see the sky light up over Tampa like never before. Fireworks are subject to weather delays or other cancellations.

4th of July at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

  • July 4 through July 6, 2026
  • Busch Gardens Tampa

Busch Gardens' biggest and brightest fireworks show is getting even bigger for July 4! Be sure to look to the sky for their Summer Celebration Firework Spectacular followed by an extended patriotic encore July 4th through July 6th.

Before the fireworks go off, be sure to explore the best of Summer Nights, including exciting shows, entertainment, and more throughout the park. Dance to the beat in their DJ Party Zones.

For a limited time, guests 21+ can say “cheers” to summer. Naturally, you must be over the age of 21 to enjoy one complimentary 7 oz. beer per day. Busch Gardens Pass Members over the age of 21 can enjoy two complimentary 7 oz. beers per day at Orang Café in Jungala.

The exact time for Busch Gardens' 4th of July fireworks is not yet on the schedule, but around 9 p.m. is a good assumption.

Thunder on the Ridge in Haines City

  • Saturday, July 4, 2026

  • Fireworks start at nightfall

Celebrate July 4th during Polk County's largest fireworks display which has been a part of the community since 1998. There will be live music, food and drinks, children's activities, and more followed by a fireworks display at nightfall.

Clearwater Celebrates America at Coachman Park

  • Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 5 p.m.-11 p.m. 
  • 300 Cleveland Street, Clearwater
  • Fireworks start at about 9:30 p.m.

Enjoy local vendors and food trucks, family-friendly activities, live music, and buskers throughout the park. As each day comes to a close, witness the grand finale on Friday with a laser light show and a grand fireworks display on Saturday. 

4th of July Freedom Fest

  • Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026, 6 p.m.-9:15 p.m.
  • Location: American Victory Ship
  • Cost: $16 per adult, $11 for youth

Experience Freedom Fest from the decks of a historic WWII cargo ship and enjoy spectacular views of Tampa's fireworks and the July 4th Boat Parade for America's 250th Anniversary! Enjoy food trucks and refreshments, live DJ entertainment, a Kids Zone, and festive All-American photo opportunities.

Safety Harbor Fourth of July Parade and Celebration

  • Saturday, July 4, 2026, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Main Street & Waterfront Park, Safety Harbor
  • Fireworks start at nightfall

The American Legion Auxiliary will host a patriotic parade down Main Street on the morning of July 4th. Wear your red, white, and blue and be ready for a good time. Then head over to the Waterfront Park starting at 5 p.m. for live entertainment, children’s activities, food vendors, and more. And of course, you don’t want to miss the fireworks show at 9 p.m.

Gulfport Fourth of July Celebration

  • Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Downtown Waterfront, Gulfport
  • Fireworks start at 9 p.m.

Celebrate Independence Day with a day of community festivities beginning at 9 a.m. at Gulfport City Hall with the opening of “The Spirit of ’76 Half Century Time Capsule,” commemorating the nation’s Bicentennial with brief remarks and a photo opportunity.

Activities continue at Tomlinson Park, where a Family Fun Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring vendors, activities, and children’s entertainment. End the day with amazing fireworks display by Pyro Productions, which will be launched from the Williams Pier at 9 p.m.

Tampa's Liberty by The Bay

  • Fireworks light up at about 9 p.m.

The annual Boom by the Bay has transformed to Liberty by The Bay to make this year's celebration bigger than ever!

The Fourth at the St. Pete Pier

  • Saturday, July 4, 2026, 4 p.m.-10 p.m.
  • Location: 600 2nd Ave NE, St. Pete

Celebrate America with an evening full of  fun! This event is filled with activities for all, including the 4th annual  St. Pete Pier Run, Craft Beer Garden, Uncle Sam’s Market, Family Fun Zone, Food Trucks & Vendors, Live Music on the Visit St. Pete Clearwater Main Stage,  roaming entertainers, and so much more. This year's fireworks display is double the scale, so you won't want to miss out!

Fourth of July Celebration at Avalon Park West

  • Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 5 p.m.-9 p.m.
  • 4424 Friendly Way, Wesley Chapel
  • Fireworks start at 9 p.m.

For a celebration including food trucks, a patriotic bake-off, community performances, bike parades, contests, a bounce park, and much more, head to Avalon Park West! This event is free to the public. There will also be a fireworks show at 9 pm for you to enjoy!

Fourth of July Fireworks at Largo Central Park

  • Saturday, July 4, 2026, 6 p.m.-9 p.m.

Gather up the family, grab your blankets or chairs, and head to Largo Central Park for music, family-friendly activities, and an amazing fireworks display! Food and beverage vendors will be on-site. Fireworks will begin shortly after 9 pm.

Yacht Starship Fourth of July Tampa Fireworks Cruises

    Treasure Island 4th of July Fireworks

    Bring your chairs and blankets for a gorgeous view of waterfront fireworks at 9 p.m. on Treasure Island Beach. Off-site parking is usually available for $20 at Treasure Island Park.

      The Fourth St. Pete at The Pier

      The outdoor, family-friendly festivities at the Pier will include fun activities such as the annual St. Pete Pier run, a craft beer garden, food trucks, and local vendors.

      There will be live music , roaming entertainers, and more! The traditional Fourth of July fireworks show, sponsored by the City of St. Pete, will be visible from the downtown waterfront, including Bayshore Dr, Straub Park, and Vinoy Park.

                  Annual Zephyrhills Summerfest and Fireworks

                  Summerfest is back strong with a day filled with FREE entertainment at Zephyr Lake Park! There will be live music, food-eating contests, kids' dance-offs, live music, a market, a bounce house and water slides, food trucks, and so much more. The night will wrap with Pasco County's largest fireworks display at nightfall.

                      Patriotic Evening in Inverness

                      This community celebration features live music, food, and drink vendors, and more to entertain you before the fireworks display! There are three viewing spots: Liberty Park at 286 N. Apopka Avenue, Depot District at 300 N. Apopka Avenue, and Wallace Brooks Park at 328 E. Dampier Street. Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m.

                      This event kicks off with the Dunedin Goes Carting patriotic golf cart parade through downtown Dunedin to TD Ballpark. The celebration continues at the ballpark with a live band, outdoor movie, games, face painting, and ending the night with a grand firework show. Grandstand seating will be open to watch the movie and fireworks; no field access.

                      Red, White, and Kaboom in Lakeland

                      Celebrate July 4th early with live music, food, and a spectacular fireworks display over Lake Mirror. If you plan to attend, try to bring a few non-perishable food items which will be collected at the event to help support VISTE, an organization that helps elderly people continue to live independently in their homes.

                      Celebrate America’s Independence Day as the skies above Lake Eloise fill with colorful fireworks.                       Lost Pearl Pirate Ship Boat Parade & Fireworks Cruises

                      We can't think of a better way to celebrate Independence Day in Tampa with the kids than with a cruise on Tampa's only pirate ship, the Lost Pearl! They are offering a Boat Parade Cruise and then in the evening, a Fireworks Cruise. You can't go wrong either way!

                              Plant City July 4th Celebration

                              Join your neighbors for the annual July 4th celebration featuring live music, a 50/50 raffle, family-friendly activities, and more. Parking is $5 at the stadium-parking gates open at 5:30 pm and fireworks will begin at 9:15 pm.
