NINJAGO Weekends are Back at LEGOLAND Florida: Here’s what to expect
Ninjas, unite! LEGO NINJAGO Weekends have kicked back into action at LEGOLAND Florida after a two year hiatus and we couldn’t be more excited.
While we loved the Pirate Weekends event that helped debut the new ride, Pirate River Quest, NINJAGO Weekends are giving guests a bit of a different experience. You can expect themed activities, NINJAGO inspired LEGO builds and treats, event-exclusive characters, and more. The best part–it’s included with admission.

There are so many things to do throughout the day during NINJAGO Weekends. Between the live shows, dance party, and even School of Spinjitzu, you’ll be on the go all day long!
Make sure to grab your event guide when you enter the park so kids can follow the “Path of the Dragon” as they build their ninja skills and collect a sticker after each activity.
LEGO NINJAGO Weekend shows and activites:
- Whip Around Dance Party (Fun Town): 11:30 am, 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm : There is always a themed dance party at LEGOLAND and this one is all about ninja dance moves!
- NEW The Dragon’s Drumbeat (LEGO NINJAGO World): 11:15 am, 12:15 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm, 4:30 pm: This is a new addition to NINJAGO Weekends. It was super upbeat and had plenty of kiddos dancing.
- School of Spinjitzu (Outside LEGO NINJAGO World): 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 1:45 pm, 2:45 pm, 3:45 pm: Want to learn how to be a ninja? This is your stop! The 12 minute long training program will teach you skills like pose, balance, and even how to spin like a ninja. Kids really enjoy this one!

- LEGO NINJAGO Master of the 4th Dimension (LEGOLAND Fun Town Theater): every 30 minutes from 10:00 am-5:00 pm: This is 4-D movie experience and great way to cool off if it’s hot or warm up on chilly days–becasue Florida weather is pretty wonky this time of year!
- LEGO NINJAGO The Ride (LEGO NINJAGO World): 10:00 am-6:00 pm: You can’t go to LEGOLAND during NINJGO Weekends and not experience NINJAGO World and the ride! There are plenty of photo opps here too and a fun climbing wall to really put those ninja skills to work.
Don’t miss the NINJAGO-themed LEGO Builds
The LEGO builds are always a family favorite for us since it’s the reason we LOVE the LEGO brand so much. Kids and kids at heart can participate in these fun builds and we lvoe that they are failry close, so you can visit both consecutively during your visit. We recommend going during one of the Lloyd’s Elemental Challenge shows so it’s a little less crowded, but even after teh shows let out, there was still space for those who wanted to participate.
- Cobra Superbrick Build (Across from Ultimate Sandwich Builder): 11:00 am-5:30 pm: Help build a superbrick that will become a part of a larger-than-life LEGO Cobra! Masterbuilders will be there to show you how to create this important superbrick they use to create these humongous LEGO sculptures.
- Ultimate Dragon Build (Across of Safari Trek): 11:00 am-5:30 pm: Kids can put their imagination to work and create their own ultimate dragon out of LEGO and then leave it for display for others to see.
NINJA Treats during NINJAGO Weekends:
The culinary team at LEGOLAND Florida have put together some event-exclusive treats for your! Our favorites were the Foe Fighting Apple Fries and Bonsai Birria Ramen (it was a cold day when we went, so this was a cozy treat). Here’s what’s on the menu:
- HI-YA-Biscus Kombucha Lemonade (LEGOLAND Coffee Co.): Hibiscus kombucha with macerated berries, ginger beer, and lemonade.
- Foe Fighting Apple Frieds (Granny’s Apple Fries): Apple fries and banana soft-serve ice cream, topped with strawberry boba and ninja sprinkles.
- Bonsai Birria Ramen (Taco Everyday): Ramen noodles with birria broth, shredded beef, onions, cilantro, green onions, radishes, queso fresco, and lime.
- Sweet Thai Chili Wings (Dragon’s Den): Twice cooked wings tossed in a sweet Thai chili glaze, served with Asian slaw.
- CURR-ATE Chop Fries (Ultimate Sandwich Builder): Shoestring fries tossed in a curry spice blend, with a side of sriracha mayo dipping sauce.
- Master Wu’s DOJO-Cue Sandwich (Kick’n Chicken Co.): Fried chicken breast tossed in Korean bbq sauce, topped with kimchi slaw and pickles, and served on toasted potato bun.
Final thoughts on NINJAGO Weekends
This is fun for all kids even if they haven’t been introduced to NINJAGO yet. The additional activities offer even more awesome things to do with the kids when visiting the park and experiencing all of the rides and LEGO build experiences.
