Minecraft is Coming to Life in an ALL-NEW Attraction!

Minecraft is coming to life in an all-new attraction! This week, Merlin Entertainments, parent company of LEGOLAND, announced “Adventures Made Real,” a new global partnership with Mojang Studios, the creator of Minecraft.

The collaboration will bring Minecraft adventures to life in the real world through immersive and interactive entertainment attractions in several locations around the globe.

It will also create new and exciting ways for guests to immerse themselves in the physical Minecraft world, including digitally enabled real-life experiences. The creation of touchpoints will also allow guests to unlock exclusive in-game content to continue their gaming journey.

What to Expect at “Adventures Made Real”

While the official locations and details are still under wraps, it was confirmed that the first two attractions will be launched in the U.S. and U.K. between 2026-2027.

This will include the development of first-of-its-kind concepts for Minecraft-themed guest accommodations, retail, and food and beverage, along with exciting experiences, including a Minecraft-themed ride at Merlin locations in both countries.

“We can’t wait to share more details when the time is right,” said Julia Estrada, Merlin Entertainments Public Relations Director, “What I can tell you is that the U.S. will be one of the first two countries in the world that will see Minecraft adventures brought to real life in fixed locations, and once we’ve finalized details of where and when our U.S. site will be we will have another exciting announcement to share with you.

Both Orlando and Winter Haven remain priorities for future growth, and in the meantime, we look forward to opening our new SEA LIFE Aquarium at LEGOLAND Florida Resort next year.”

“Minecraft is the best-selling video game of all time and this world-first will see fans experience its thrill and creativity in real life at theme parks and city-center attractions leading tourist destinations,” said Scott O’Neil, Chief Executive Officer of Merlin Entertainments.
“This initial investment is just the beginning, replicating Merlin’s tried-and-tested approach to globally launching new concepts and platforms as we have with LEGO, Peppa Pig. Sony Pictures, CBeebies, and others.”
While we wait on more details, you can still check out all there is to do at Merlin’s other parks, LEGOLAND Florida Resort and Peppa Pig Theme Park.
