Monster Jam Returns to Tampa’s Benchmark International Arena!
Monster Jam is roaring back into Tampa Bay at Benchmark International Arena for three days of action-packed, unforgettable competitions that will leave every kid and kid at heart in absolute awe on August 14-16. If you haven't been, it's a must-experience and one of our favorite things to do this weekend with the kids!
What can you expect at Monster Jam?
Monster Jam is a real competition. Nothing is scripted, so anything can happen! The 12,000-pound Monster Jam trucks push all limits in Freestyle, Skills, and Racing competitions while doing backflips, vertical two-wheel skills, and racing at speeds up to 70 miles per hour.
The August show will be an ALL-NEW experience in Tampa, with Monster Jam Freestyle Mania™ as freestyle motocross bikes join the competition!
It features world-class athletes locked in intense competitions of speed and skill. Fans will get to witness heated rivalries, high-flying stunts, and fierce head-to-head battles for the Event Championship.
It's pretty exciting to watch, whether you're a Monster Jam fan or not. Fans of all ages will have a blast cheering on the brightly colored, uniquely themed trucks!
Fun Tip: There are VIP experiences you can buy incluidng the 2026 Monster Jam VIP Racer Challenge. Kids will get a chance to reace electric powered vehicles on the race track during intermission!
The Pre-Show: Monster Jam Pit Party
We highly recommend attending the pre-show Monster Jam Pit Party! The Pit Party is a chance for you and the kids to get up close and personal with the trucks and bikes, and even meet the competitors, which is always a hit for the youngest fans! There are plenty of awesome photo opportunities as well, so keep that phone ready.
Fans can see the massive trucks up close, meet their favorite drivers and crews, get autographs, and take pictures. There are a lot of other activities, too and it's just cool to get to walk on the dirt!

Do you need hearing protection at Monster Jam?
You’ll definitely want to invest in some of those noise-reducing headphones for your kids because it can get loud (obviously). You can purchase them at the show or bring your own. The little foam inserts work great, too, and are much more cost-effective.
