Eclectic Ybor City is the site of this festive celebration featuring the ReliaQest Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade and a pep rally (formerly Outback Bowl). The parade will feature floats and marching bands including the two college bands! The Pep Rally features a battle of the bands and cheerleaders from both universities. The Parade starts at 5:30 p.m. and runs along 7th Avenue.

NYE on The Pier in St. Pete

This free event at Spa Beach Park is open to the public and full of fun for all friends and family. NYE on the Pier will feature DJs, food trucks, bars and more. Light it Up Clearwater New Year’s Eve Fireworks

Sal Y Mar Rooftop Bar & Events Venue is inviting locals and guests to bid farewell to 2022 and toast the beginning of a brighter 2023 at the most anticipated New Year’s Eve party in Tampa Bay. The NYE rooftop bash will take place on the 7th floor of the dual-branded Aloft and Element Hotel in Midtown Tampa. Tickets start at $160 for general admission with the basic bar package and $260 with premium bar package for six hours. For the ultimate VIP experience, including open bar, buffet with chef carving station, and passed small bites in a private room with dance floor, guests can purchase tickets at $375 per person.

The Aloft and Element hotel is offering a special overnight package for guests who prefer to skip the ride home and spend the night. The package starts at just $850 (for the premium bar package) or $1,060 (for the VIP bar package), and includes event admission for two, a guest room for one night, and late check-out. This celebration isn’t at noon, but early enough for the kiddos to celebrate with a fireworks display at 8:00 p.m. LEGOLANDflorida.com 

Walt Disney World New Year’s Eve

Walt Disney World has two fireworks shows at two of its theme parks. Disney Enchantment and Harmonious are scheduled for much earlier than normal that day. Disney will have an additional New Year’s Eve fireworks show that night. EPCOT tends to have a party environment during New Year’s Eve with dance parties and DJs in many of the World Showcase pavilions, and hats and horns being distributed to guests in the evening.

Important note: Walt Disney World requires a park pass reservation for all of its theme parks. Magic Kingdom and EPCOT will most likely book to capacity. Universal Orlando and SeaWorld Orlando do not require reservations, but parking and the parks themselves can reach capacity. It is best to head to any theme park on any big holiday as early as possible and plan to spend your whole day, and night, there.
