The 2024 list of our favorite pumpkin patches in Tampa Bay, fall festivals, corn mazes, Halloween events, and more is ghoulishly good.

So, get your calendar out and start scheduling some fall family FUN. Keep in mind that the owners of the pumpkin patches work really hard to organize these amazing events for you, so make sure you are keeping a close eye on your kids when visiting. We all know how excited little ones can get and we want everyone to stay safe.

2024 Pumpkin Patches in Tampa Bay, Including Awesome Fall Festivals and Corn Mazes

(Listed in order of opening date. Dates, times, and ticket prices are subject to change. Check with your chosen farm’s social media sites before you go because some do sell out of tickets on certain days.)

Gallagher’s Pumpkin Patch and Christmas Trees

• Opens September 16, 2024
• 7401 4th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33702

Located in St. Pete for more than 30 years, this family-owned business is the perfect spot to capture super cute photos of your little pumpkins while you select the best of the ‘patch’! You can also pick up a yummy homemade pie and even feed goats in the goat pen. Before you leave, be sure you snap a photo in front of the popular vintage pickup truck.

Raprager Family Farm Fall Pumpkin Patch

• September 20 – November 3, 2024, Fridays: 4pm-9pm, Saturdays: 9am-10pm & Sundays: 9am-8pm
• Location: 16907 Boy Scout Rd, Odessa, FL, 33556
• Cost: $16.95 when purchased in advance for ages 3 and up, children 2 and under are free. Parking is free.

Raprager Family Farm’s Fall Festival is BACK for 2024 with even more fall fun on the farm! Attractions this year include axe throwing, pumpkin painting, a 900ft inflatable maze, a baby cow, and more.  The haunted barn is back along with the hay rides, petting zoo, hay chute slide, and other favorites. The farm is kid-friendly all day but does get scarier after 6:00 p.m.

Harvest Holler Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Polk City

• Opens September 20, 2024
• 950 Tavares Rd., Polk City, FL 33868
• Cost: $17 for ages 13-64, $14 for ages 2-12, seniors 65+, and active-duty military

It’s an easy ride from Tampa – just about a half hour east on I-4 – and suddenly you’re at Farmer Jerry and his family’s Harvest Holler Farm.  Come out for a fun fall tradition and stroll the fields of this year’s corn maze and pumpkin patch at Harvest Holler Farm, a working family farm! You can explore the pumpkin patch, go on a hayride, enjoy some country eats, meet live farm animals, and more! There’s also a cow train, corn hole, and many more activities.

HarvestMoon Farm Pumpkin Patch

• September 28-November 3, 2024. Open Wednesday-Friday from 10 am-2 pm and then Sat-Sun: 10 am-5 pm. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
• Location: 15990 Stur St., Masaryktown, FL 34604
• Cost: $12.95 weekdays and $15.95 weekends, ages 3 and up

You’ll want to pre-purchase a ticket online to secure your spot to navigate the 5-acre corn maze, explore the many attractions like a cow train, pedal cars, jumping pillow, and barnyard games. There’s also a petting farm and tree house. Bring some extra cash in case the little ones decide they want to participate in gem mining or even pick out their own pumpkins in the pumpkin patch! They even host a Haunted Nights Nights event for $24.95 on select nights.

Kerby’s Nursery Pumpkin Patch in Seffner

• Open daily from September 28-October 31, 2024
• Location: 2311 S. Parsons Avenue, Seffner

Kerby’s Nursery has a variety of beautiful pumpkins to select from including Cinderella, gladiator, jack-be-little, and more! Enjoy a scarecrow treasure hunt and free decorating seminars. While you’re there, be sure to snap a photo in front of the pumpkin wall!

16th Annual Sweetfields Farm Fall Pumpkin Patch

• September 28-November 3, 2024
• Location: 17250 Benes Roush Rd. Masaryktown, FL 34604
• Cost: $13.28 3 and up, 2 and under are free 

Come out for corn maze fun at Sweetfields Farm in Masaryktown, but stay for the Pitcher Pump Duck Race, hayride, pumpkin patch, farm animals and free craft of the season. Buy your tickets ahead of time to secure your spot because this event often sells out. This year’s maze design is inspired by the new farm dog who you just might meet during your visit to Sweetfields!

DK Festival Farm Pumpkin Patch

• October 1-31, 2024, Open daily.
• Location: 1750 Lake Ave SE, Largo, FL 33771
• Cost: $10 weekdays/$15 weekend

Explore and pick up a pumpkin at their patch, take a hayride, and enjoy the great fall decorations or hang with some new friends at the petting zoo. There’s a ton more to do and lots of fun for the whole family. There are 12 activities available on weekdays and more on weekends. Pumpkin patch is open daily.

Dave’s Christmas Tree Lot Pumpkin Patch

• October 1-31, 2024 Mon-Fri: 1 pm-8 pm, Sat-Sun: 9 am-9 pm

It’s not officially fall until you’ve visited our pumpkin patch in October! Bring your friends and family out to wander through our rows of pie pumpkins, mini pumpkins, white pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, highly stacked hay bales, garden mums, and much more. Bring the whole family and take as many photos as you like!

22nd Annual Brooksville Pumpkin Patch

• Weekends from October 4-October 27, 2024
• Location: 475 North Avenue West, Brooksville, FL 34601

The Brooksville farm has hundreds, if not thousands of pumpkins–to choose from! The farm says most of their pumpkin deliveries are a few days off the vine, so they should last you through the holiday…and maybe even grab some cute ones for decor for Thanksgiving. They also have food vendors, produce, a petting zoo, bounce house, games, and more.

Watermelon Swim’s Annual Fall Festival & Pumpkin Patch 

• Pumpkin Patch: October 4-24, 2024
• Fall Festival: Saturday, October 19, from 4 pm-7 pm
• Location: 19509 N Dale Mabry Hwy and 3703 W McKay Ave

Get ready for pumpkin season in Tampa Bay! Watermelon Swim’s annual Pumpkin Patch opens on October 4, offering a variety of perfect pumpkins at four locations. Lutz and South Tampa have large outdoor patches, while Wesley Chapel and Riverview offer cozy indoor setups. Each location boasts charming fall photo spots for your family to capture the spirit. Admission is free, and they are open from 8 am to 8 pm throughout October. A portion of the proceeds benefits their swim programs including the swimmers with disabilities program. Join them on October 19 for their FREE Fall Festival at Lutz and South Tampa, featuring trunk-or-treating, games, food trucks, and more.

Horse Power for Kids and Animal Sanctuary 15th Annual Fall Festival Fundraiser 

• October 5-27, 2024 on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am – 5pm
• Location: 8005 Racetrack Rd., Tampa, FL 33635
• Cost: $15 admission, $1 parking

Bring the family out for a day of fun, while supporting a non-profit animal sanctuary right outside the Westchase area. The festival includes pony, train and hayrides, as well as farm animals. Fall games and bon fire, which includes marshmallows. Proceeds go to the animal rescue and sanctuary.

 

Springtime Agventure Farm Fall Pumpkin Patch and Haunted Walk

• October 5-27, 2024 on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am-4 pm
• 18150 Commonwealth Ave N., Polk City, FL
• Cost: $14 per person

OVER 20 ACTIVITIES INCLUDED WITH THE ALL-DAY PASS, 200 animals that you can hold touch, and feed (Food to feed animals included) Pumpkin Patch, 1 FREE pumpkin per child (While Supplies Last), Petting Farm, 70 70-foot jumping Pillows, Inflatable Slides, Bounce House, Haunted Trail, Bird Aviary, a Scavenger Hunt and more. Hyde Park Village Pumpkin Patch

• October 7-28, 2024. Open Mon-Thurs from 3 pm-6 pm and Fri-Sun from 10 am-6 pm.
• Location: 1602 W. Snow Circle, Tampa, FL

Come pick out the perfect pumpkin at Hyde Park Village as it turns into a pumpkin-filled wonderland! Proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. The pumpkin patch will be located by the fountain near Pottery Barn and also provides the backdrop for that perfect pumpkin pic!

 

33rd Annual Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Patch Festival

• Dates: October 12-27, 2024 on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am-5 pm
• Location: 5500 C.R. 675, Bradenton, FL 34211
• Cost: $15 for ages 11 and up, children under 10 are free. $5 for parking (cash only)

Make the drive south of Tampa Bay to experience the 32nd annual Pumpkin Patch Festival on select weekends in October. There will be hayrides, a petting zoo, games, a pumpkin patch, and more! The main attraction is the corn maze which is an additional $2 per person. Make sure to bring cash for other cool activities like a children’s train ride, Butterfly Experience, zip line, and more!

 

Boo Barn Bash at Old McMicky’s Farm

• Date: October 19, 2024 from 9 am- 1 pm
• Location: 9612 Crescent Dr., Odessa
• Cost: $15 per person

Old McMicky’s is hosting its annual Halloween event with a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, bounce house, face painters, food, games, music, and more! 

 

Annual Heights Fall Festival Pumpkin Patch at Armature Works

• October 22, 2024 from 12 pm-5 pm
• Location: Armature Works, Tampa
• Cost: Free to attend

The Heights Fall Festival will feature a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, face painters, activities for the whole family, and live music. There will also be a food drive benefiting Metropolitan Ministries.

 

St. Pete Pier Fall Pumpkin Patch

• October 12-20, 2024
• Location: St Pete Pier, 800 2nd Ave. NE, St. Petersburg
• Cost: FREE to attend

Pick out your perfect pumpkin at the Family Park at the St. Pete Pier and pose for adorable photos. While you’re there, stay and play at the nearby playground and even tour the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center.

Stick around for their Fall Festival on Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13 from 11 am-7 pm.

Bearss Groves Pumpkin Patch -Florida’s Largest Pumpkin!

Bearss Groves has done it again! They have brought in Florida’s largest pumpkin weighing in at 1,500 pounds! Come on by to snap some photos with this giant gourd and pick up some smaller pumpkins to take home!

Frazier Farms Pumpkin Patch in Brooksville

There will be lots of kids’ games, big kids’ games, corn hole, pumpkin painting, hay rides, “Moo” train barrel ride, a wide variety of craft & food vendors, shaved ice, ice cream, corn shucking contests, and a pumpkin patch!

Halloween Harvest at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

We’re still waiting on details for this exciting new Halloween event from Busch Gardens, but we heard it will have lots of the same fun as the previous Spooktacular event! Stay tuned as we announce more details as soon as they’re out!

Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens

Experience terrors around every corner at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Meet up with hundreds of roaming creatures, terrifying outdoor scare zones, including and returning favorite haunted houses including the Witch of The Woods, Stranglewood Estate, and the returning D.H. Brick or Treat Monster Party at LEGOLAND Florida

Tampa Bay’s number-one family Halloween event returns this October! Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa is full of eerie family fun for everyone! Ghouls and goblins of all ages can enjoy howling outdoor experiences, mischievous characters, creepy culinary treats, and much more! 

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is back and we couldn’t be more excited! Kids can dress in their favorite Halloween costume to safely trick-or-treat at SeaWorld Orlando and meet up with everyone’s favorite neighbors on Sesame Street as The Count, Elmo, Abby, and others! 

Halloween Spookquarium at Clearwater Marine Aquarium

• Cost: Included with general admission

Enjoy family friendly fun at CMA with trick or treat stations, costume contests, a haunted trail, ghoulish games and activities, and specially themed food and refreshments. On October 19 and 27, stick around for a festive Halloween Spookquarium Brunch from 10 am-1 pm and explore the aquarium after hours for Aqua Lanterns, starting at 5:30 pm.

Tampa Bay History Center’s A Night at the Museum

• Cost: Ticket prices: $16.95 for adults; $14.95 for college students; $14.95 for seniors (60+); $12.95 for children and youth (4-17); free for children ages 0-3. History Center members receive a 15% discount.  

Trick-or-treat your way through the Tampa Bay History Center galleries in search of sweet rewards on Sunday, Oct. 22. Plan for an evening of games, crafts, costume characters, and more! Timed tickets are available now and children age 3 and younger are free.

Scream-A-Geddon in Dade City

It’s officially that time of year! Scream-A-Geddon is returning to Dade City to terrify guests once again with haunted house attractions and creepy crawlies wandering the grounds to give you your first frights of the season. There are a total of SIX attractions to terrify you including NEW ones. *Please don’t bring little kiddos to this—it’s quite intense and there’s no pumpkin patch here.

Spooky Train Rides and Scary Trail at the Concourse in Shady Hills

• September 27 and 28, and every Friday and Saturday night in October from 7 pm-10 pm
• 11919 Alric Pottberg Rd, Shady Hills
• $8 each or $15 for both, or $20 for all three attractions

Come out to the Concourse forger Spooky Train Rides and Scary Trail! The train is now DOUBLE the length as years past! There will be many activities for the kids so come out and have a spooky time! 

Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail in Plant City

• September 27-November 1, 2024 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
• 2837 S Frontage Rd in Plant City
• Cost: $27 and up

For an extra spooky night filled with terrifying thrills, head to Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail in Plant City! There are three haunted trails, laser tag, and even an escape room. The haunted trails are not appropriate for kids under age 12, so leave the little ones at home.

Haunted River Tours with Pirate Water Taxi

• October 4-27, 2024 select days between 6:15 pm-9:45 pm
• Convention Center/ Marriott Water Street (Stop 7 location)
• Cost: $35 for adults, $25 for children ages 2-12 (includes all-day hop on/hop off)
  

Join Pirate Water Taxi’s crew for an entertaining evening with tales of ghosts along the Hillsborough River. Each tour will be led by two dead-lightful docents who will tell eerie stories of Tampa’s past. Admission is included with a regular daily hop-on, hop-off pass. Haunted River Tours are family-friendly, and all ages are welcome! Tours last 45-50 minutes.

Scarecrow Festival at the Pioneer Florida Museum

• October 12, 2024, 9 am-4 pm
• 15602 Pioneer Museum Rd., Dade City, FL 33523
• Cost: $5 for students ages 5 and up, $10 for adult

Take part in fall games and activities as a family at Pioneer Florida Museum and Village in Dade City. Paint a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, make a scarecrow, visit the petting zoo, take a pony ride, pose for a photo with a scarecrow, touch a truck, get your face painted, go on carnival rides and more!  No pets, coolers, food, or beverages allowed.

Pint-Sized Halloween Party at Southwest Complex in Largo 

• October 12, 2024, 4 pm
• 13120 Vonn Rd, Largo, FL
• Cost: $10 child, $4 adult
  

This is a spooky good party created just for kiddos ages 7 and younger. Kids can make a craft, participate in a costume parade, enjoy fall-themed treats, and play games.

Haunted Woods at Hillsborough River State Park

• Dates: October 18 and 19, 2024 (Time TBA)
• Location: Hillsborough River State Park

The Hillsborough River State Park Preservation Society is hosting a haunted trail at the park along with a costume contest, live music, and treats as an alternative to trick-or-treating! Follow them on Facebook to stay tuned for more details!

Pumpkin Carving Workshop at Largo Community Center

• October 25, 2024, from 5 pm-7 pm
• 400 Alt Keene Road, Largo
• Cost: $15 per pumpkin
  

Come on out to the Largo Community Center to carve a pumpkin with all the tools you’ll need on hand along with some expert tips on how to carve a pumpkin.

Trick-or-Treat Trail at Largo Central Park

• Date: October 25, 2024, 5:30 pm
• Location: Largo Central Park, 201 Highland Ave, Largo, FL
• Cost: Free for the first 1,500 kids on sight (under 12)
  

Bring your kiddos dressed in their Halloween costumes for a night of trick-or-treating around Largo City Hall. Bags and candy will be provided. This is an outdoor event. 

8th Annual Trick or Treat on the Riverwalk in Tampa and Lighted Boat Parade

• Date: October 26, 2024 from 4 pm-7 pm
• Location: Downtown TampaRiverwalk
• Cost: FREE

Trick or treating on the Riverwalk is back where kids and their families can visit 50 different treat stations while enjoying other fun activities.

5th Annual Spooky Stroll with TRIBE Seminole Heights

• Date: October 26, 2024, from 6 pm-9 pm
• Location: Seminole Heights Garden Center, Tampa
• Cost: $3 per person 

This beloved annual event will sell out fast, so be sure to purchase your tickets in advance to secure your spot. TRIBE Seminole Heights’ Spooky Stroll features tons of family-friendly fun including costumed characters, trick-or-treat stations, a pumpkin patch, a creepy house tour, fun games, and MORE! In the past, it has taken about 60-90 minutes to complete the stroll.

Halloween on Central in St Pete 2024

• Dates: October 27, 2024 from noon-5:00 pm
• Location: Central Ave in St. Pete between MLK and 31st St S
• Cost: Free

22 blocks are closed to cars and motor vehicles from noon-5pm for this this family event will be filled with a parade of costumes, street performers, entertainment, and tons of Halloween fun! 

USF Botanical Gardens Fall Plant Festival

• 2024 Dates TBD
• 4202 E. Fowler Ave, Tampa, FL
• Cost: $5 non-members, free for members and children under 12

Fall is a great time to get high-quality, mature plants for your gardens and landscape! Vendors from throughout the state will be on-site selling plants and plant-related items.  There will also be a free children’s craft area. Click here to learn more.

Pied Piper’s Annual Haunted Carnival at Armature Works in Tampa

Head down to Armature Works to experience 300,000 square feet of terrifying fun! The daytime hours are best for kids where there is a kids zone, plenty of nostalgic candy, photo opportunities, and more fun rides.

Haunted Wharf at Sparkman Wharf in Tampa

A haunted pirate shipwreck is heading to Sparkman Wharf with an evening of plenty of photos, live music, silly spooks for the kids, festive food and drinks, and MORE! This is a free community event. Some of the cool photo opportunities include a pirate jail, a siren’s sea swing, and the TAMPA sign will be decked out for the holidays too! 

Fright Nights at Folly Farm in Safety Harbor

The city of Safety Harbor has scheduled two nights of frightful fun at Folly Farm Nature Preserve. There will be a haunted trail you can explore, fall-themed activities, a campfire, children’s activities, and more!

Owl-O-Ween at McGough Nature Park
