Ananda Farm is our favorite family-friendly farm in the Tampa Bay Area, where kids can roam and PLAY on incredible attractions like a huge tree house, while adults enjoy a farm-to-table menu, live music, and more. It reopens on the weekend of September 26, and we can't wait! They will also have U-Pick flowers, and kids' activities including pumpkin decorating, hay bale play, face painting, and arts & crafts!

Watermelon Swim’s Annual Fall Festival & Pumpkin Patch

Get ready for pumpkin season in Tampa Bay! Watermelon Swim’s annual Pumpkin Patch opens on October 3, offering a variety of perfect pumpkins at five locations. Lutz and South Tampa have large outdoor patches, while Wesley Chapel, Brooksville, and Riverview offer cozy indoor setups.

Each location boasts charming fall photo spots for your family to capture the spirit. Admission is free, and they are open from 8 am to 8 pm throughout October. A portion of the proceeds benefits their swim programs, including the swimmers with disabilities program. 

The Watermelon Swim Fall Festival will be celebrated on Saturday, October 18, from 4 pm to 7pm at the Lutz and South Tampa locations. This free event will feature trick-or-treating, photo ops, games, prizes, and more!

Trick-or-Treating at the Hillsborough County Fair!

For the first time in years, you can celebrate Halloween at the Hillsborough County Fair! Kids (and their parents) are invited to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes and enjoy a fun-filled, safe night of Trick-or-Treating throughout the Fair on opening night.

The excitement doesn’t stop there everyone can join the Costume Contest, where four exciting categories will be judged across four age groups from 0 to 18 and beyond. The fun begins when the gates open at 5 pm. Opening night admission is only $2 per person courtesy of Hungry Howie’s.

Tall Tales of Old Florida at Cracker Country

Explore Tampa’s 19th-century living history museum by night! Along the way, meet storytellers who will spin wild yarns about a few of Florida’s unexplained oddities. A little scary, a little funny, and always family-friendly, the Tall Tales tour is a Florida history adventure by lantern light. Recommended for ages 6+.

Gallagher's Pumpkin Patch and Christmas Trees

Located in St. Pete for more than 30 years, this family-owned business is the perfect spot to capture super cute photos of your little pumpkins while you select the best of the ‘patch'! Before you leave, be sure you snap a photo in front of the popular vintage pickup truck and pumpkin wall.

Raprager Family Farm Fall Pumpkin Patch

  • September 20 – November 2, 2025, Fridays: various hours

  • Cost: $15-$17.95 when purchased in advance for ages 3 and up, children 2 and under are free. $19.50 at the gate. Parking is free.

Raprager Family Farm’s Fall Festival is BACK for 2025 with even more fall fun on the farm! Attractions this year include axe throwing, pumpkin painting, a 1,000 square foot inflatable kids maze, a 17,000 square foot haunted maze (after Oct 1), a farm animals, and more.  The haunted barn is back along with the hay rides, petting zoo, hay chute slide, and other favorites. The farm is kid-friendly all day but does get scarier after 6:00 p.m.

Harvest Holler Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Polk City

  • September 19 – November 16, 2025
  • Location: 950 Tavares Rd., Polk City, FL 33868 – about 30 min east of Tampa
  • Cost: $17 for ages 13-64, $14 for ages 2-12, seniors 65+, and active-duty military

It’s an easy ride from Tampa – just about a half hour east on I-4 – and suddenly you’re at Farmer Jerry and his family’s Harvest Holler Farm.  Come out for a fun fall tradition and stroll the fields of this year’s corn maze and pumpkin patch at Harvest Holler Farm, a working family farm! You can explore the pumpkin patch, go on a hayride, enjoy some country eats, meet live farm animals, and more! There’s also a cow train, corn hole, and many more activities.

HarvestMoon Farm Pumpkin Patch

You’ll want to pre-purchase a ticket online to secure your spot to navigate the 5-acre corn maze, explore the many attractions like a cow train, pedal cars, a jumping pillow, and barnyard games. There’s also a petting farm and tree house. Bring some extra cash in case the little ones decide they want to participate in gem mining or even pick out their own pumpkins in the pumpkin patch! They even host a Haunted Nights Nights event.

14th Annual Fox Squirrel Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

  • September 27 – October 26, 2025, Sat-Sun: 10 am-5 pm

  • Cost: $12. Ages 3 and under are FREE (2024 price)

Take part in exciting, family-friendly fall games and activities during the annual Fox Squirrel Corn Maze! Navigate the corn maze and see how quickly and you can find your way through and then go check out the duck races, challenge your kids to a game of corn hole, go on a hayride, and select the perfect pumpkin for your front porch in Tampa!

Kerby’s Nursery Pumpkin Patch in Seffner

  • Fall kickoff on September 27, 2025. Open daily.
  • Location: 2311 S. Parsons Avenue, Seffner

Kerby’s Nursery has a variety of beautiful pumpkins to select from, including Cinderella, Gladiator, Jack-be-Little, and more! Enjoy a scarecrow treasure hunt and free decorating seminars. While you’re there, be sure to snap a photo in front of the pumpkin wall!

17th Annual Sweetfields Farm Fall Pumpkin Patch

  • Opening late September 2025
  • Location: 17250 Benes Roush Rd. Masaryktown, FL 34604
  • Cost: $11.95 when purchased in advance for ages 3 and up, 2 and under are free. $14 at the gate

Come out for corn maze fun at Sweetfields Farm in Masaryktown, but stay for the Pitcher Pump Duck Race, hayride, pumpkin patch, farm animals, and free craft of the season. Buy your tickets ahead of time to secure your spot because this event often sells out. This year’s maze design is inspired by the new farm dog who you just might meet during your visit to Sweetfields! This event often sells out, so you will need to pre-purchase your tickets to secure your spot.

Keel Farms in Plant City is hosting this second annual pumpkin patch event in Tampa Bay that will feature a four-acre corn maze for you and the kids to navigate as you find hidden clues and solve a riddle with the rooster mascot, Corky and pals. There is also a pumpkin patch, hayrides, kids zone, camel rides, and more! Taking place in conjunction with Keel Farms Harvest Days.

23rd Annual Brooksville Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festival

  • Opening weekend, October 3, 2025
  • Location: 475 North Avenue West, Brooksville, FL 34601
  • Cost: entry is free

The Brooksville farm has hundreds, if not thousands, of pumpkins to choose from! The farm says most of their pumpkin deliveries are a few days off the vine, so they should last you through the holiday…and maybe even grab some cute ones for decor for Thanksgiving. They also have food vendors, produce, a petting zoo, a bounce house, games, and more.

DK Festival Farm Pumpkin Patch

  • Opening weekend October 4-5, 2025. Open daily.
  • Location: 1750 Lake Ave SE, Largo, FL 33771
  • Cost: $10.95 weekdays/$16 weekend

Explore and pick up a pumpkin at their patch, take a hayride, and enjoy the great fall decorations or hang with some new friends at the petting zoo. There’s a ton more to do and lots of fun for the whole family. They also have capybaras to meet!

  • Cost: $15 admission, $1 parking

Bring the family out for a day of fun while supporting a non-profit animal sanctuary right outside the Westchase area. The festival includes pony, train and hayrides, as well as farm animals. Fall games and bonfire, which includes marshmallows. Proceeds go to the animal rescue and sanctuary.

35th Annual Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Patch Festival

  • Dates: October 11 – 26, 2025, on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am-5 pm

  • Location: 5500 C.R. 675, Bradenton, FL 34211

  • Cost: $15 for ages 11 and up, children under 10 are free. $5 for parking (cash only)

Make the drive south of Tampa Bay to experience the 34th annual Pumpkin Patch Festival on select weekends in October. There will be hayrides, a petting zoo, games, a pumpkin patch, and more! The main attraction is the corn maze which is an additional $2 per person. Make sure to bring cash for other cool activities like a children’s train ride, Butterfly Experience, zip line, and more!

Pumpkin Patch Express (Florida Railroad Museum)

The Florida Railroad Museum is calling “all aboard” for young and old train enthusiasts as you embark on the Pumpkin Patch Express to a field full of pumpkins to pick, as well as kid-friendly activities on your 2.5-hour journey. Children are invited to pick their own pumpkin to take home. Everyone is also invited to participate in other crafts and activities.

For an extra spooky night filled with terrifying thrills, head to Sir Henry's Haunted Trail in Plant City! There are three haunted trails, laser tag, and even an escape room. The haunted trails are not appropriate for kids under age 12, so leave the little ones at home.

Scarecrow Festival at the Pioneer Florida Museum

  • October 11, 2025, 9 am-4 pm

  • $5 for students ages 5 and up, $10 for adult

Take part in fall games and activities as a family at Pioneer Florida Museum and Village in Dade City. Paint a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, make a scarecrow, visit the petting zoo, take a pony ride, pose for a photo with a scarecrow, touch a truck, get your face painted, go on carnival rides and more!  No pets, coolers, food, or beverages allowed.

Pumpkin Carving Workshop at Largo Community Center

Come on out to the Largo Community Center to carve a pumpkin with all the tools you'll need on hand along with some expert tips on how to carve a pumpkin.

Trick-or-Treat Trail in Downtown Largo

Bring your kiddos dressed in their Halloween costumes for a night of trick-or-treating around Downtown Largo. Bags and candy will be provided. This is an outdoor event. 

9th Annual Trick or Treat on the Riverwalk in Tampa and Lighted Boat Parade

Trick-or-treating on the Riverwalk is back. This is a FREE community event! Children in costume and their families are invited to come and trick or treat along the Riverwalk as well as enjoy fun activities. We will have over 50 treat stations participating along the Riverwalk starting at Water Works Park and ending at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.

7th Annual Spooky Stroll with TRIBE Seminole Heights

Halloween on Central in St Pete 2025

22 blocks are closed to cars and motor vehicles from noon to 5 pm for this family event, which will be filled with a parade of costumes, street performers, entertainment, and tons of Halloween fun!

Come out to the Concourse forger Spooky Train Rides and Scary Trail! The train is now DOUBLE the length as years past! There will be many activities for the kids so come out and have a spooky time! 

Guppyween at the Florida Aquarium

Guppyween returns to the Florida Aquarium for a weekend filled with Halloween-themed activities, trick-or-treating, animal encounters, costumed divers, and even underwater pumpkin carving! 

The sensory-friendly event will feature lights, sounds, and activities adapted accordingly throughout the event for individuals with differences. $10 per guest and free for members.

Tampa Bay History Center’s A Night at the Museum

Enjoy family-friendly fun at CMA with trick or treat stations, costume contests, a haunted trail, ghoulish games and activities, and specially themed food and refreshments. On October 19 and 27, stick around for a festive Halloween Spookquarium Brunch from 10 am-1 pm and explore the aquarium after hours for Aqua Lanterns, starting at 5:30 pm.

Haunted River Tours with Pirate Water Taxi

Join Pirate Water Taxi’s crew for an entertaining evening with tales of ghosts along the Hillsborough River. Each tour will be led by two dead-lightful docents who will tell eerie stories of Tampa’s past. Admission is included with a regular daily hop-on, hop-off pass. Haunted River Tours are family-friendly, and all ages are welcome! Tours last 45-50 minutes.

This is a unique way to celebrate the fall season on the farm! Sun Kisses Acres is teaming up with Nights of Shimmering Lights to create a 1/3-mile walk-through trail featuring beautiful lights, music, games, hay rides, pumpkin patches, a foam play area on select nights, and more! The light trail is not-so-scary and suitable for kids of all ages!

Come pick out the perfect pumpkin at Hyde Park Village as it turns into a pumpkin-filled wonderland! Proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Tampa Bay and Feeding Tampa Bay. The pumpkin patch will be located by the fountain near Pottery Barn and also provides the backdrop for that perfect pumpkin pic! Join Mother Boo every Thursday in October from 10 am-12 pm for story time in the patch!

Guests can donate a suggested donation of $20 benefitting both organizations, guests can select two complimentary pumpkins. Donations may also be made on-site using a QR code, and canned goods or supplies can be contributed to the Feeding Tampa Bay collection box. Hyde Park Village will match donations up to $10,000, doubling the impact of each contribution.

Bring your friends and family out to wander through our rows of pie pumpkins, mini pumpkins, white pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, highly stacked hay bales, garden mums, and much more. Bring the whole family and take as many photos as you like!
