U-Pick Farms in Tampa Bay: Where to pick berries, flowers and veggies now!

U-pick farms in Tampa Bay are opening their fields once again for a fun and unique day out on the farm with the kids! Right now, you can pick strawberries, vegetables, u-pick flowers, and even citrus.

Before you go, check each farm’s social pages or websites to ensure they are open as hours and dates change with the weather and whether a crop is available for u-pick.

A few u-pick tips:

  • Bring sunscreen and bug spray.
  • Bring cash. Some farms accept credit cards but have cash on hand just in case.
  • Wear closed-toed shoes when out on the farm.
  • Pack plenty of water for everyone in your group. It can get hot in the fields (gotta love winter in Florida).
  • Only pick ripe fruit and veggies. Strawberries will not continue to ripen once picked.
  • Bring your own containers just in case. Some farms provide containers, but not all.
  • If you are picking flowers, bring a container with water to keep the flowers fresh for the drive home.

Dooley Groves in Ruskin: U-Pick Citrus 

Dooley Groves offers u-pick citrus during the season. Right now, they have u-pick Honeybells every day from 10 am-4 pm. Check the Facebook page for updates.

 

Ananda Farm in Terra Ceia: U-Pick Flowers 

This is a NEW farm in the Tampa Bay area, offering an awesome day to get outside and play with the kids. They not only have u-pick flowers on select days, but plenty of kid-friendly activities like a jumping pillow, tree house, and more! They also offer farm-to-table food experiences, and they have a rooftop beer garden. The farm reopens on January 10, 2026! Weck Farms U-Pick in Lutz: U-pick strawberries

Weck Farms is reopening its field for u-pick strawberries on select days! They provide the bucket, and the berries are just $3.50 per pound.

 

You Pick Blueberries in Spring Hill: U-pick strawberries, veggies,

You Pick Blueberries in Spring Hill is offering u-pick strawberries and leafy greens like kale, baby spinach, and collards. They also offer u-pick blueberries in April. Be on the lookout for food trucks and other vendors on site. They are open Tuesday-Sunday, 10 am-4 pm.

 

Strawberry Passion/Passion Organics in Thonotosassa: U-pick strawberries

The market will be open, along with u-pick strawberries on select days. The strawberries go quickly, so be sure to check their Facebook page for updates on the availability of Strawberries for that day.

Three Sons Farms is now offering u-pick strawberries on select days.

 

Fancy Farms in Plant City: U-pick Strawberries

Fancy Farms is currently offering u-pick strawberries at its Drane Field Road location. Be sure to check their Facebook page for updates on availability before heading out!

 

Upicktopia in Masaryktown: a variety of u-pick veggies, berries, and flowers available now

Upicktopia has a variety of fruits and vegetables available for u-pick, including arugula, kale, broccoli, and SO more. You’ll want to check their Facebook page before you go to see what they have available for u-pick as it changes.

 

JG Ranch in Brooksville: U-pick strawberries

JG Ranch is now offering u-pick strawberries. You’ll want to check in on their Facebook page to see what's available. They also have a farm stand for fresh produce! They suggest bringing a cooler to keep your berries fresh on the drive home.

 

Golden Ridge Groves: U-pick flowers, berries, and citrus

This family-owned farm is hosting u-pick flowers and berries, along with citrus. They also have a farmers' market and offer farm tours to learn about what they do!

Florida Sweeties in Dade City: U-Pick Citrus

Pigeon Cove Family Farm: U-pick strawberries

A Land of Delight Natural Farm and Nursery in Plant City: U-Pick vegetables, herbs, and fruit

A Land of Delight Natural Farm hosts a regular farmers market and u-pick. They are offering u-pick strawberries right now, with the u-pick closing at 3 pm. The market has plenty of fresh produce, honey, fruit trees, and so much more. Check their Facebook page here for updates.

The Southern Peach Company in Lithia: U-pick peaches

The peaches are ready on select days only, often in May, so check their Facebook page for updates. This fifth-generation family farm in Lithia has all the charm peach picking has to offer, including a photo opportunity with an old-fashioned truck as you enter the orchard. The century-old farm offers plenty of peaches to go around for everyone starting in late April. After picking, stop by Alafia River State Park, which is just minutes away, for some relaxation and fun under the trees.
