Tea Service in Tampa Bay for an English-Inspired Afternoon

Craft Afternoon Tea Experience

• Location: 603 Channelside Drive, Tampa
• Dates: Select Sunday afternoons from 3 p.m.-5 p.m.

Set sail along downtown Tampa’s waterfront as you and your crew savor a 90-minute Afternoon Tea experience like no other in Tampa Bay! The 130-foot river cruise boat makes you feel as if you’re in Europe without ever having to pack your bags and fly away.

The British Afternoon Tea experience includes everything you’d expect at a tea, including a selection of tea sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and sweet treats, all paired with premium teas. Additional beverages are available for purchase.

The experience is offered on select Sunday afternoons and is $59.95 per person. You’ll board at 3 p.m. and sail from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Oxford Exchange

• Location: 420 West Kennedy Blvd., Tampa
• Dates and times: Traditional Tea Service offered Monday-Friday. Afternoon Tea and Children's Tea in the Conservatory are offered on the first Sunday of each month from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Oxford Exchange has an excellent on-site tea bar if you're looking for something delicious to brighten your day on the go! Pick an option from their tea wall or signature collection, and within a few minutes, you'll have a perfectly brewed beverage, hot or cold!

They also offer various tea services, including a Traditional Tea Service and Afternoon Tea. Their Traditional Tea Service is available Monday through Friday all day; however, their Afternoon Tea—served in the conservatory—is only available on the first Sunday of every month from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., and reservations for Afternoon Tea are available 30 days in advance.

Different tea service options include:

• Traditional Tea: seasonal desserts, scones with clotted cream and preserves, traditional tea sandwiches, and your choice of hot or iced tea. $44 per person
• Afternoon Tea: sweet and savory bites, scones with Oxford Exchange sweet cream and house preserves, and your choice of tea. $75 per person
• Children's Tea: Almond butter & banana finger sandwiches, grilled cheese finger sandwiches, scones with Oxford Exchange sweet cream and house preserves, two sweets, and their choice of tea or juice. $55 per child

Mad Dogs & Englishmen

• Location: 4914 South MacDill Avenue, Tampa
• Dates: Offered daily from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The same family that brought Oxford Exchange to Tampa also reimagined Mad Dogs & Englishmen in its new space on South MacDill Ave., and it’s equally as gorgeous. Again, you feel like you’ve been transported across the pond to London even before you walk in.

This is another great spur-of-the-moment afternoon tea experience since it is offered daily from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Your service includes a selection of scones with clotted cream, seasonal desserts, and traditional tea sandwiches.

Afternoon Tea at William Dean Chocolates

• Locations: Midtown, Tampa, and Belleair Bluffs
• Dates: Saturdays and Sundays by reservation only

William Dean Chocolates is known for its whimsical sweet treats that appeared in the 2012 movie The Hunger Games, so you know they are going to get an afternoon tea service right. They offer afternoon tea on Saturdays and Sundays at the Tampa and Belleair Bluffs locations.

You will need to make a reservation in advance and choose between two seatings: 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. It’s $37.50 per person and includes Tebella tea and the traditional three-tier platter of scones, savory items, and sweet treats.

Joseph's Tea Room 

• Locations: 25028 US-19, Clearwater, and Joseph’s Tea Bar in Dunedin
• Dates and times: Tuesday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Friday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

Joseph's Tea is a great place if you're looking for a full-service tea experience! From exquisite afternoon tea to signature-themed tea experiences, Joseph's Tea crafts a wonderful atmosphere that is ideal for you and your partner, a small group of friends, or a party. With more than 75 tea blends to choose from, there is a flavor to fit anyone's taste!

For the true tea party experience, they offer an Afternoon Tea Experience and a Deluxe Afternoon Tea Experience, both of which come with a set menu. You can also order items à la carte if you're looking to try particular items.

Here is what's included in the different services:

• Afternoon Tea -A pot of tea, berry salad, a three-tier tray (one per table) including croissant and tea sandwiches, scones, biscuits with Devonshire cream and jam, and petit desserts. $42 per person
• Deluxe Afternoon Tea – Champagne, two chocolate-covered strawberries, and everything in the Afternoon Tea. $52 per person

If you're looking to plan for a larger group, event, or party, Joseph's Tea Room also offers the ability to customize your tea party and menu. Parties with more than 6 people must choose an afternoon tea experience.

Lindy’s Tea Room

• Location: 2869 20th Ave. N, St. Petersburg
• Dates: Thursday-Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Lindy’s Tea Room is the perfect place to sip and shop. The experience offers a charming, vintage-inspired afternoon tea with delicate china and a selection of teas, savories, scones, and sweets. And we love how the tea rooms are filled with beautiful vintage finds you can shop…and it helps set the atmosphere. Lindy’s Tea Room is open Thursday–Saturday, 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. by reservation.

Wild Rover Brewing Company Afternoon Tea

• Location: 13921 Lynmar Blvd., Tampa
• Dates: Saturdays and Sundays from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.

Experience Afternoon Tea at Wild Rover Brewing Company! Included in your tea service is a selection of tea, sandwiches, three cakes or sweets, and a garden salad.

General seatings are for parties of 2-8 people; if your party is bigger, contact Wild Rover Brewing Company directly to reserve your spots.

Jekyll Hyde Park

• Location: 1500 W Swann Ave., Tampa
• Dates: Once per month

Jekyll in Hyde Park offers High Tea events throughout the year with different themes, treats, teas, and more. Be sure to check their website for the next upcoming High Tea date, as tickets are required to attend, and they sell out fast.

These High Tea sessions feature a different curated menu to match the event theme, but guests can often expect traditional tea fare such as scones, small desserts, pastries, tea sandwiches, and more. Since these tea events are themed, guests are also encouraged to dress up accordingly!

The White Heron Tea and Gifts

• Location: 6228 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey
• Dates and times: Wednesday-Saturday, 12 p.m.-2 p.m., Sunday, 12 p.m.

As a Florida-inspired tea room, The White Heron Tea and Gifts is a relaxing, serene tea room with a great gift shop! They have an Afternoon Tea option with an optional add-on of a Royal Tea. If you're looking for an at-home tea experience or something to enjoy with little ones, they've got you covered! They also offer a la carte items if you're not looking for a full-service tea session.

Each seating is approximately one hour and 30 minutes, and advanced reservations are required.

Tea service options:

• Afternoon Tea – Three-tier tray with tea sandwiches, scones with strawberry preserves and their homemade cream, small desserts, and a pot of tea. $24.95 per person
• Royal Tea – Everything in the Afternoon Tea is included with a bottle of Prosecco. $31.95 per person
  Afternoon Tea To Go – Everything in the Afternoon Tea, just to-go! $21.95 per person
• Tea House Salad – A lighter option featuring a salad with homemade chicken salad on top, and other items found in tea sandwiches, just without the bread! $19.95 per person
• Young Lady & Gentleman's Tea – A smaller presentation of the adult Afternoon Tea with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or traditional tea sandwiches, a scone, two small desserts, and their choice of tea or juice. For ages 5-12, $19.95 per child.

Fenway Hotel

• Location: 453 Edgewater Dr., Dunedin

On occasion, the Fenway Hotel out in Dunedin will host tea service events. Each tea experience includes different small bites and fine teas!

Beacon Spill the Tea

• Location: 510 Water Street, Tampa
• Dates: Every Saturday

Every Saturday, the Beacon rooftop hosts the ultimate tea party experience. Enjoy small bites, tea-inspired cocktails, and the perfect selection of tea blends for an elegant evening on the 27th floor of the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street!

ANNUAL SPECIAL EVENT: Mommy & Me High Tea

• Location: Armature Works in Tampa
• May 3, 2026, from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Pinkies up! Put your tea to amazing work by purchasing tickets for you and your little princess to attend the Mommy and Me High Tea, which benefits Redefining Refuge, a local non-profit fighting child trafficking in our own backyard.

It’s nothing but butterflies at this favorite annual event, where you can take snaps with all your favorite princesses, get your hair and nails done, make your own custom bouquet, and sip tea to your heart's delight.

The Empress Tea Room & Bistro

• Location: 6463 W Hillsborough Ave., Tampa

The Empress Tea Room & Bistro is an especially great place if you're looking to host a private event or party, or they can bring the tea party to you! Advanced booking is required.

If you follow The Empress Tea Room & Bistro, they announce public tea dates where you can come and enjoy without needing a private event or party. Enjoy delicious treats and teas in a great atmosphere with all of the cute tea decor! Reservations are required to attend the public tea dates.

The Enchanted Spot at Silly Dilly's

• Location: 4203 A El Prado Blvd., Tampa

Silly Dilly's is a small gift shop with a tea room appropriately named The Enchanted Spot. This space is perfect for hosting small groups and parties, up to 24 guests.

Within The Enchanted Spot is the Enchanted Dining Parlor, which is tailored to the party aesthetic and is where the tea service is held. There is a second room, the Social Parlor, as a place for gift openings, storytime, and other group activities. They also have an option for a child's party or celebration, up to 12 guests, or 15 with an additional charge per child.
