Go pick flowers with Mom on Mother's Day weekend!

Springtime is primetime for u-pick flowers in Tampa Bay and two of our favorite farms are Sweetfields Farm and Harvest Moon Fun Farm, both north of Tampa in Masayrktown. Not only do they have u-pick flowers, but plenty of farm activities for the kids and yummy snacks. You will need tickets to attend the events.

Tucked in Terra Ceia, just south of Tampa off the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, Ananda Farm is Tampa Bay's favorite agritourism escape for the whole family. Pick fresh blooms in the u-pick flower fields, enjoy live music daily, explore 10+ attractions, and dig into amazing food and drinks. On Mother's Day, moms get free admission, a free mimosa or beer, and fun crafts to make with the kids. It's the last weekend of the season, so make it count.

Another idea is to book a flower bouquet-building workshop with Mom! There are several on schedule this week in Tampa Bay.

There are so many ways to learn and get creative with Mom! We love the idea of a cooking class at Sur La Tab, a flower arranging class, or even a chance to pour your own custom-scented candles at The Candle Pour.

But, one class that caught our attention is relatively new in Tampa and a great way to get cheesy with Mom! Cheeseology in Ybor City offers a variety of cheese-making classes. They also have a cute class where you and the kids can make cheese and pizza together. cheeseology.net

Go WILD with Mom at ZooTampa

This is a great weekend to explore ZooTampa with Mom because there are so many new things to experience if you haven't been in a while. You can also upgrade your day by purchasing a Signature Animal Encounter for this weekend or even a day coming soon. We LOVE Stingray Shores In-Water Stingray Encounter! It's a perfect way to cool off on a hot Florida summer morning.

You can also go see the NEW Australia Realm where the kids can cool off in the new splash pad and mom can enjoy a cool cocktail or mocktail at the new bar.
