  • Yacht Starship in Tampa and Clearwater on May 11, 2025: Yacht Star Ship is offering a Mother’s Day Brunch and Dinner on May 11. Set sail on a relaxing two-hour cruise in downtown Tampa or Clearwater while enjoying a buffet, DJ, and more. Prices vary by location.
  • Maestro’s at The Straz on May 11, 2025 at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.: Enjoy a delicious brunch with the family at the beautiful Straz Center and then maybe end it with tickets to the ballet to see Ballroom, Broadway and Ballet by Next Generation Ballet® (show at 2 p.m.) or even take part in the interactive “Clue: A Walking Mystery.”

Go pick flowers with Mom on Mother's Day weekend!

Springtime is primetime for u-pick flowers in Tampa Bay and two of our favorite farms are Sweetfields Farm and Harvest Moon Fun Farm, both north of Tampa in Masayrktown. Not only do they have u-pick flowers, but plenty of farm activities for the kids and yummy snacks. You will need tickets to attend the events.

If you're headed south of Tampa, check out Ananda Farm just over the Skyway bridge in Terra Ceia for fresh blooms, delicious farm-to-table treats, and heartfelt activities that honor the special women in our lives. And, moms get in free on Mother's Day! Enjoy guided tours of the lush gardens, participate in crafting workshops, and savor homemade refreshments. Bring your loved ones and create lasting memories in a beautiful, serene setting.

Another idea is to book a flower bouquet-building workshop with Mom! There are several on schedule this week in Tampa Bay.

Take a class together!

There are so many ways to learn and get creative with Mom! We love the idea of a cooking class at Sur La Tab, a flower arranging class, or even a chance to pour your own custom-scented candles at The Candle Pour.

But, one class that caught our attention is relatively new in Tampa and a great way to get cheesy with Mom! Cheeseology in Ybor City offers a variety of cheese-making classes. They also have a cute class where you and the kids can make cheese and pizza together. cheeseology.net

Go WILD with Mom at ZooTampa

This is a great weekend to explore ZooTampa with Mom because there are so many new things to experience if you haven't been in a while. You can also upgrade your day by purchasing a Signature Animal Encounter for this weekend or even a day coming soon. We LOVE Stingray Shores In-Water Stingray Encounter! It's a perfect way to cool off on a hot Florida summer morning.

You can also go see the NEW Australia Realm where the kids can cool off in the new splash pad and mom can enjoy a cool cocktail or mocktail at the new bar.
