It’s Blueberry U-Pick Season! Where to pick blueberries in Tampa Bay
U-pick blueberry season is finally here! The sweet blueberries are ready for the picking at several farms and we’re sharing some of our favorite spots to go blueberry picking in Tampa Bay.
While some farms provide containers, we recommend bringing your own just in case. In fact, the plastic clamshells store-bought blueberries come in are best if you can save a few since they’re designed to keep the berries fresh. Once you get home, store your freshly picked blueberries in the fridge until ready to eat.

Cash is best and it’s always a good idea to wear closed-toed shoes, apply plenty of sunscreen and, of course, bring enough water to drink for everyone since it can get hot in the fields.
*Be sure to check with each farm’s Facebook page or website before you go since things can change quickly between the weather and the popularity of this outdoor activity in Tampa Bay!
