Tampa Bay Rays Watch Parties at Tropicana Field
- Dates: Friday, October 23-Saturday, October 24, with additional dates if necessary
- Location: Tropicana Field, St. Pete
The Tampa Bay Rays will host watch parties at Tropicana Field for Games 1 and 2 of the World Series, presented by Capital One, to be played at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wis. Rays in-game host Nate Kurant will emcee the events, located in the seating bowl. Fans will enjoy entertainment, giveaways, autographed items and other prizes, plus exclusive access to The Bay Republic Team Store. The Cownose Clubhouse will also be open until first pitch. Fans can purchase tickets for $10 and prepay for parking online at RaysBaseball.com/Postseason.
A Nightmare on Franklin Street “Mummy & Me” family film: K-Pop Demon Hunters

Tampa Theatre, Tampa’s most historic (and most haunted) movie palace, provides premium heebie-jeebies this Halloween season with classic horror movies, spooky storytelling for all ages, ghost tours, and “Mummy & Me” family films that are FREE for kids 12 & younger. This Saturday’s film is K-Pop Demon Hunters at 3 pm. The first 200 guests to arrive for K-Pop Demon Hunters will receive a free foam glow stick, courtesy of series sponsor Bank of America! Plan ahead: The Mummy is on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 7:30, and Hocus Pocus will be shown on Saturday, Oct. 31 at 3 pm.

Trick-or-Treat on the Riverwalk in Tampa (pictured at top)

Trick-or-treating on the Riverwalk is back. This is a FREE community event! Children in costume and their families are invited to come and trick-or-treat along the Riverwalk at more than 50 treat stations. There are also fun activities on schedule, including a Costume Contest and Movies in the Park to end the night.
A Pirate’s Halloween on The Lost Pearl

This October, set sail aboard The Lost Pearl Pirate Ship for a Halloween adventure! The 1.5-hour Halloween pirate cruise blends spooky fun with swashbuckling excitement. Costumes are encouraged for kids AND adults. Activities include Halloween and Pirate Games: Pumpkin Toss, Water Cannon Battles, Mummy Wrap, and Spooky Dance Party. Teenagers will love a cruise on Pirate Water Taxi’s Haunted River Tours, which are rated PG-13.
Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa at Lowry Park

Tampa Bay’s number-one family Halloween event returns in September with ALL-NEW experiences! Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa is full of eerie family fun for everyone! Hamilton at The Straz Center

Dunedin Spooktacular & Monsters and Mayhem Haunted House

There are two Halloween events on schedule in Dunedin this weekend! The Monsters & Mayhem Haunted House will be open from Friday through Sunday evenings at the Community Center- tickets are $5. And then on Sunday, October 24, the city will host Spooktacular Dunedin at Highlander Park from 5 pm-9 pm. Wristbands for Spooktacular Dunedin are $15.
Fall Festival at Ananda Farm
- Date: Every Friday-Sunday through November 1!

Our favorite family farm is reopening for the season this Friday with the Ananda Farm Fall Festival! There is something for everyone here, including 15 attractions where kids can play and get their wiggles out, u-pick flowers, and yummy farm-to-table food! The festival runs every Friday through Sunday through November 1.
Halloween Story Time with the Animals at Fat Beet Farm

Enjoy story time on the top of the Coop Barn then visit with farm animals like the goats, chickens, and ducks after! Be sure to stick around for pumpkin painting from 10-12:30.
Wild N’ Wicked Nights at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park

Each week is a different theme, so we are sure to have one your child will enjoy! And at the end of each workshop, every child will get to take home their every own Bricks 4 Kidz minifigure! St. Pete Pier Costumed Dog Parade

Dress up with your pup and strut down the pier! Get ready for a howling good time at the Costume Dog Parade on the St. Pete Pier! The parade will begin at 6 pm. Register your pup for just $20 plus taxes and fees to participate in the costume contest and receive a commemorative St. Pete Pier leash, and numbered participant bib. Once registered, you and your pup will strut down the Pier as thousands of spectators cheer you on! A panel of judges will score each costume and select the finalists, who will be invited onstage with their pups for a live audience-participation round to help determine the Crowd Favorite and ultimate winners. The pumpkin patch will also be open for that perfect fall photo op!
Annual Spooky Stroll with TRIBE Seminole Heights
- Date: Saturday, October 24 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
- Location: Seminole Heights, Tampa
This beloved annual event will sell out fast, so be sure to purchase your tickets in advance to secure your spot. TRIBE Seminole Heights’ Spooky Stroll features tons of family-friendly fun, including costumed characters, trick-or-treat stations, a pumpkin patch, a creepy house tour, fun games, and MORE! In the past, it has taken about 60-90 minutes to complete the stroll.
Tampa Bay History Center’s A Night at the Museum
- Date: Saturday, October 24 at 6:30 pm
- Location: Tampa
Trick-or-treat your way through the Tampa Bay History Center galleries in search of sweet rewards on Saturday, Oct. 24. Plan for an evening of games, crafts, costume characters, and more! Timed tickets are available now, and children age 3 and younger are free.
Tall Tales of Old Florida at Cracker Country

Day of Discovery at Florida Aquarium

A Day of Discovery provides an Aquarium experience specifically tailored to individuals with sensory differences and their families. Days of Discovery are hosted by The Florida Aquarium in partnership with the Center for Autism & Related Disabilities (C.A.R.D.) at the University of South Florida. To address the needs of our diverse audiences, Day of Discovery has limited capacity and is reserved for families and children with sensory differences and/or accessibility challenges. David Hockney: Perspective Should Be Reversed at Tampa Museum of Art

The exhibition features 140 prints, collages, photographs, and iPad drawings by the artist David Hockney, from the collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and his family foundation. By rejecting the idea of being limited to one medium or mode of perception, Hockney helped transform modern art. Throughout his lifelong career, which began in the early 1960’s, he worked with etching, lithography, Polaroid collage, office copiers, photography, video, iPhones, and iPads.
Mysteries of the Nile: Ancient Egypt at Tampa Museum of Art

The Tampa Museum of Art has just unveiled a first-of-its-kind exhibit for the Tampa Bay area featuring art and artifacts of ancient Egypt. The exhibit features pieces on loan from the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto and from private collections of owners, along with works from TMA’s collection. The exhibit is an exploration of the everyday life of ancient Egyptian people, the power of the pharaohs and priests, the worship of the gods, and the afterlife. Mysteries of the Nile: Ancient Egypt will be on display for two years.

The beloved FORTS exhibit returns to Glazer Children’s Museum this weekend in its newly expanded and permanent home on the second floor, just in time for spring break! You’ll find it on the second floor, where kids can use their imaginations to build an epic fort!
Let’s See at Glazer Children’s Museum in Tampa
This colorful, bilingual (English and Spanish) exhibit, created in partnership with the Glazer Vision Foundation, invites families to explore the science of vision through hands-on, mind-bending experiences. Discover how your eyes work with playful interactives that bring light, color, and perspective to life. Mix colors on spinning wheels, walk into a giant kaleidoscope, and cast dazzling colored shadows. Peer through a water sphere to see the world flipped upside down – just like your eyes do before your brain flips it back! Try on glasses, test for color blindness, and watch your pupils dilate as you explore how we see the world.
Wonders of Wetlands at Great Explorations Children’s Museum in St. Pete
This new permanent exhibit, created in partnership with Tampa Bay Water, was designed to engage young minds and spark environmental curiosity. The immersive experience brings one of Florida’s most vital ecosystems to life inside the museum, and kids can even go face-to-face with some of the creatures that call our wetlands home, like turtles, lizards, and a snake!
See the World’s Largest Triceratops at Glazer Children’s Museum in Tampa
Big John, the world’s largest fossil triceratops, is now on display at the Glazer Children’s Museum for a three-year exhibition. For the first time, the museum is waiving its requirement that adults attend the museum with a child, to ensure everyone has a chance to see Big John nose to snout for themselves. While you do not need a reservation to go to the museum, you will need to book a timeslot to see Big John. This will eliminate crowds so you can make the most out of the experience. Paws for Literacy at Humane Society of Tampa Bay in Tampa | Tuesdays and Thursdays
The Humane Society of Tampa Bay gives children who love animals a chance to spend time with them while catching up on their reading or improving their reading skills. Children are paired with homeless pets who love to hear the stories and look at the pictures. The program is offered for children ages 5 and up. They’ll provide reading stools, books, and treats (for the animals), but children are welcome to bring their own books if they wish. Books provided include animal tales, stories of the animal-human bond, and books that teach empathy to young readers. Supervised by a Florida state certified teacher.
Ruskin Family Drive-In in Ruskin | Wednesdays-Sundays
The Ruskin Family Drive-In Theatre has over 50 years of continuous service to the Ruskin and South Hillsborough County. It’s been a community gathering place since its first movie, “Singing in the Rain” played in 1952. They offer great movies, good food, and peace and quiet on a continuous basis with a 2000 square foot screen, clean restrooms, snack bar, and clean parking lot. Please note: you must bring a portable radio with you or use the radio in your car to hear the movie. There will be no showings on Monday and Tuesday.
